2019 SRSM Meeting Information: July 22 -24, 2019
Venue Information
The 2019 SRSM Annual Meeting will take place at Loyola University Chicago in Regents Hall on the 16th floor of Lewis Towers, 111 E. Walton, Chicago, Illinois, 60611. Please note that the meeting room is usually cold so please dress in layers and bring a sweater or jacket. A continental breakfast, snacks and lunch will be served each day of the conference.
Conference Registration
Registration fees for the conference are $330 per person. This cost covers refreshments during the conference and the annual dinner.
If a conference attendee would like to bring a guest to the annual dinner, there is an additional charge of $130.
The optional Chicago River Cruise is $47 per person and does not include any refreshments. Dinner will be on your own on Tuesday evening.
To register for the conference, please go to the Store and log into your SRSM member account. You will be able to register for the conference and add a guest for the dinner and optional boat cruise.

The boat cruise does not include dinner or refreshments. Drinks and light snacks are available for purchase on board the cruise.

Hotel Accommodations
There are several hotels within walking distance of the conference venue. The venue is also within walking distance from the Chicago Red Line CTA station.
Chicago Airports
There are two airports serving downtown Chicago. O'Hare International Airport serves both international and national flights for most carriers. Midway Airport serves domestic flights within the US.
Transportation from Chicago Airports
You can take a taxi, Uber or Lyft from both airports. The cab fare from O'Hare to downtown will be around $40, and from Midway around $30.
From O'Hare, you can also take the CTA Blue Line to the downtown Loop area, and then you will need to take a cab or walk to your hotel. From Midway, you can take the CTA Orange Line to the downtown Loop area, and then take a cab or walk to your hotel. You can get more information about getting around Chicago here.
Things to do in Chicago
The venue for the conference is on North Michigan Avenue, otherwise called the Magnificent Mile for the number of retail outlets. We are close to the John Hancock building which has a spectacular viewing experience (360 Chicago on the map below). We are also close to the Museum of Contemporary Art and Oak Street Beach.
