LATEST NEWS:  Congratulations to Northwestern University statistical genius Larry Hedges, who has received the world's largest education prize: the $3.87 million Yidan Prize for Education Research. Hedges was recognized for his ground-breaking statistical methods for meta-analysis and was chosen from nearly 1,000 nominations spanning 92 countries. Read more here and here.

Olkin Award

The Olkin Award is named for Ingram Olkin (1924-2016), Professor of Statistics at Stanford University. Professor Olkin was a pioneer in the development of statistics for meta-analysis. The Olkin Award is given annually to recognize an individual who has made distinguished lifetime achievement in research synthesis methodology. This Award represents the highest honor bestowed by the Society in recognition of contributions to our field. The recipient is invited to the next meeting of SRSM to deliver an address.
